James Harden’s misdemeanor charge has been dropped by theHarris County (Texas) District Attorney’s Office. According to The Athletic, the motion to dismiss the charges was officially filed on Thursday. Harden “completed an alternative resolution agreement,” per a court document.   ​Details of the “alternative resolution agreement” remain unclear. The Athletic has contacted the district attorney’s office for comment and will update this report once more information becomes available. ​Police arrested Harden, 36, early on the morning of June 13. He was booked into the Harris County Jail and freed after posting a $100 bond. According to court records, the terms of his release bar him from owning firearms and consuming alcohol, marijuana, or other controlled substances without a prescription. Additionally, he must submit to random urine tests.
